Warren is a beloved son, brother, and friend who left his mark on every person he crossed paths with. In 2005, we lost Warren to a tragic accident, but his spirit has never left.
Warren's memory lives on through family and friends who come together to celebrate his life and raise money for the scholarship fund set up in his name. One Pope John XXIII High School Graduate is selected to receive the annual scholarship made possible through the generosity of family, friends, and our ever-growing circle of support.
The Scholarship
Warren was a four-time state champion, named to the All-Area and Non-Public State Teams. Every year, the Wormann's present two awards in his memory – the Warren Wormann Jr. Defensive MVP Award and the Warren Wormann Jr. Memorial Scholarship.
THE GOLF CLASSIC
Held at Farmstead Golf and Country Club, the Golf Classic benefits the Warren Wormann Jr. Scholarship Fund. Now one of their largest events, we started with 40 golfers, and now top 180. The scramble style tournament is open to all levels.
